T1 - Create Your Padi.io Account 

To maintain a secure, zero-trust environment all Padi.io users must be signed into the Padi.io system.

 

Currently Padi.io uses Google User Accounts to identify its users. 

NOTE: You need a Google User Account to join Padi.io.

Follow these Steps:

To create a Padi.io user account do the following:

  1. Go to padi.io

  2. Click the Sign In button at the top right corner of the page.

  3. Sign in to your desired Google user account.

If this is your first time on Padi.io, an account will be automatically created for you. Your personal Padi.io Home page will open. Welcome to Padi.io!

In the grand tradition of all programming tutorials, let's begin by generating a Hello World message.

Follow these Steps:

1) Sign into Padi.io and go to your Home Page.

2) Click the Install button. It’s located at the top right corner of the second column. 

The list of available Padi Apps  will open.
Notice that the apps are listed in alphabetical order.

3) Scroll down the list of apps and select the Wiki app.

The Wiki app will launch, and the Editor will open.

4) Click the Next button to launch the Wiki app. The Wiki editor will launch.

5) Type Hello World in the editor. Click the Next button.

6) Go to the App name text box at the top of the window (arrow), and enter a name for this app. Then click the Install button.

After the app loads, you’ll see it listed in the your ‘Apps Column.’
